Hello! My name is Emmanuil Simkhayev. I am currently a senior at the City College of New York and majoring in computer science. Throughout my academic career, I have worked on a variety of projects that showcase my skills. My main interests include web development and machine learning, but I am still exploring various fields of computer science.
Worked with a partner to create a method of detecting doors in images. Input an image and the program will return the image with rectangles around doors. This project was completed for a computer vision course in fall of 2017.
Worked with a team of four to design a Flask-app for a restaurant delivery managment website. With functionality for multiple types of users such as customers, delivery personnel, and managers. Responsibilites included designing the database, methods to query database, designing webpages and their functionalities. This project was completed for a software engineering course in spring of 2017.
Worked with a partner to design a database for a railroad reserveration system that mimics Amtrak. Responsibilities included designing and populating database with schedules, trains, and stations along with implementing ticketing and reservation functionality.
